Meet Aanya

Aanya holds a PhD in Molecular Endocrinology from Imperial College London and is an Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) with the UKVRN. Alongside her scientific career, she has become a leading figure in the London fitness scene over the last decade and is recognised as a Master Coach at one of Europe’s top fitness boutiques, Psycle London. Aanya launched The Nourish Method to blend her passions for transformative science research, holistic wellness and coaching.

Aanya’s interest in nutrition was curated during her own weight loss journey. Feeling overwhelmed by one-size-fits-all plans and fad trends, real change came when she began exploring the science beyond calorie counts and delving into systems biology. This focus launched her into an academic career in which she has held research fellowships in leading institutions across the UK and USA. Her PhD research investigated dietary components that impact the communication between the gut and the central nervous system, particularly through pathways targeted by current anti-obesity therapies. Aanya leverages her biological expertise to deliver results beyond weight management. The Nourish Method has helped clients to optimise their gut health, elevate athletic performance, manage cortisol, and promote cognitive function—delivering lasting benefits for both physical and emotional wellbeing.
